It may be a respray....I would have to look closer at the car to tell for sure, but that rust is original. I don't see bubbling bondo on the rear quarters.

That's a nice car. The interior is in gud shape; I can C a few minor dents. Bumpers are nice. Already had brake conv. , under hood looks gud.
The only rust I can C is in the 1/4's & maybe wheelwells. The fact that it's a possible respray wud not stop me from buying it. If it had a vinyl roof that might turn me away. Also, Dave has the trim he's offered to give the buyer and seller has frame/mm for V8 swap.
Already has clutch pedal - for those who may wish to go manual.
I wud go the 3K, maybe a little higher if I were in a position where I cud C the car in person. I wud definitely consider buying that car.

I have looked over all the pictures very well. Looks like original paint to me.

This is the only spot it looks like it's been painted, might be a reflection, but the rear window molding has red on it...[IMG]

    Overall, it's a nice car.

He does mention in the ad that he thinks it may have been hit and repaired. So it may have been repainted at some point.

I bet my pinks that - that car is resprayed. No way in hell that's original paint.
