ROCK AND ROLL METAL TECHNO in my humble opinion... but more seriously. I fully believe in IGNORING ANY stock stereo wireing. esp in old cars due to many problems with poor performance, noise, mysteriously blown fuses, etc, etc. my deck constant power (big yellow wire with 15A fuse) is pulled right from Battery via dedicated wire. all speakers individually wired to deck/amps. The only thing I even think about using from the stock harness is a switched low current lead. I have found lots of voltage drop when using the power lead that is actually run via the ign switch. many times I have found this particuallar stock circuit to be inadaquate for the power requirements of NEW decks and audio toys I'm really anal (can i say that) about stereos EVERYthing gets soldered and heatshrink, tested retested, wire routing is always double checked for kinks abrashion stress. i'm always willing to make suggestions on electrical/electronic issues 2 yr A.A.S. in electronics Keep Rockin In The Free World
