    I`ve got factory Mustang take offs. 400 ci headers crossover mufflers an tailpipes, love the sound!

    here's what a turbo muffler(also has a cut out) sounds on a 200ci six:)

    A quite muffler sounds best on a 6 cylinder. Turbo mufflers sound good on a V8.

    X2 6cyl should be as quiet as possible,or you risk the chance of getting that wet fart sound.

    I am really liking the sound of the flowmasters I just had put on, 2 1/2" nice deep rumble. It sounded pretty good with the glasspacks and 2" exhaust but was killing my horsepower.

    The best sounding exhaust is the one that makes the most acceleration.
    why try to get some power out of an engine and then choose an exhaust system for sound?
    I must be a fanatic about making it all work because "cool sound" never enters my mind.
