I have no tolerance for someone touching my car. I ask immediately when someone is invading its space to please not touch it. I move them the second time. I have never had to deal with a third time. Also, you have to realize that noncar people do not understand how we are about our cars. You might educate the guy in a non violent manner on how you feel about your car and how you like to keep it as nice as possible.
Violence will only make the entire situation turn into something much uglier than you are now experiencing. Hopefully the situation has blown over by now. Good luck!

I had to jump in on this one. Thoughtless people really piss me off. You did the right thing by yelling at the guy. He has no right to treat your property that way. Hopefully that will be the end of it. I would leave it alone for now. Don't be like him. Does he live there or regularly visit someone who does? If anything happens to your ride any time soon I'd have a little something in store for that Honda!:evilsmile

Yes this kind of thing makes me mad too... My car has more nicks ,scratches .and dents than you can count...But they are MY nicks, scratches, and dents so don`t touch them! :16suspect

My approach to this type of thing is "Be nice"...unless the situation requires you to be "Not so nice"... Then call Rick and I to swing by and pick you up with a gas can and a video camera!

Some people really get under my skin........I would keep a level head, walk up to the guy and tell him face to face how you feel

well almost 24 hours later nothing new. No damage to my car and no further insident. I think he was visiting this older spanish guy who lives there, probably his relative. Even though I did drop the F bomb its not like I actually called the guy a name or something. I just said get the F off of my car.. ya know I held my lip the first time when he pulled up the cover I dont think I really over reacted on the second offence. I was looking at the guys car today, got the tag number in case something did happen. So I notice the muffler, not only is the tip about 4'' in diameter but someone heated the chrome up to a blue color, I had to laugh a little bit for that one.
