whats wrong with some people?

Here's a good one. A little over 2 years ago my brother wrecked his Honda Civic. He had just purchased brand new wheels not even a week before. Well the wheels were fine so they took them off and the car and placed them in front of his new Honda in the back of our garage which is about 60' long. The next day some boy stops by to ask about the wrecked Honda for parts or something...anyway my dad took him inside the garage to show him some other parts. He sees the wheels and says "I need some new wheels for my car" my dad proceeds to tell him they are not for sale and a few minutes later the boy leaves. Later that very night about 1:30 in the morning my sister calls from her house which is on the other end of our property about some cars that are pulling out of the driveway. Well my dad wakes me up, grabs the 12 gauge (yea he doesn't play), and the phone and we go outside. The front door of the garage is wide open the padlock cut and the hinges on the door bent. The wheels were gone but nothing else. Not the mig welder they had to jump over nor any of our $1000's dollars worth of tools, nothing except those wheels! Called the cops, blah, blah, anybody who's been broken into knows that crap. We knew the cars that left were imports due to the distinct fart can sound. That boy was the ONLY person besides us that knew those wheels were there. He drives by our house the next day and has the nerve to WAVE at us as we are standing out in the yard! Not one to take that kind of utter disrespect my Dad and I jump in the 66 Galaxy and proceed to chase him. We catch up in no time ( my Dad was driving like a maniac!) and Dad pulls along side and scream at him to pull over or he's gonna put his ass in the ditch and he wasnt even close to joking. He tried to out run us but he couldn't due to the FORD power. So he pulls over at a gas station and his buddy jumps out and hauls ass off down the road. I went to call the cops and next thing I know he left and so did my dad so I get left at the gas station! The boy was so dumb he told my dad he would come to our house to talk about it . Well I had to wait for my brother to come get me so by the time I got back he was being arrested. He said he didnt do it. But the cop informed us he just got out of jail for theft. Now people around here know we dont play games like that! You steal from us we will find you and if we catch you in the act your probably gonna get peppered. So about nerve yeah some people have enough to steal from you and then come by your house and give you a friendly wave. Hows that for nerve?

Last year I took my son's to X-fest. Big concert thing here in Dayton.
My youngest kid was getting over heated so we decided to pack it in
and head home. I'm walking to my truck and I can see some people
sitting near it drinking beer and don't you know this a$$hole tosses
his beer bottle right in the bed of my brand new truck. I yell at him
..WTF are you doing? He looks at me and tell him to get his bottle
out of my truck and rushes over and grabs it. I get up to him and
I'm hot. He had put 2 or 3 in there and I made him get them out.
He trys to tell me it's a JOKE....now that was the lamest excuse
he could come up with. I said..no joke buddy, you were using my
truck for your trash can. He's saying he's sorry and luckly there
was no damage. I made him move his POS van he had me blocked
in with and we left. I told the cop watcing traffic in the lot there
was people drinking in the lot and where they were at...A$$holes.

 

I think that you probably got your point across to him and won't have anymore trouble. I don;t know if there is any good/better/worse way to handle a situation like that, we would all just have to evaluate the circumstances and go from there were we in the same situation. I don't like people touching my car either. Preston

 

yeah its cool now I guess nothing new happened. Like someone else mentioned, now that guy knows that someone cares about that car and watches it so he'll have that to think about, plus all that went down at like 3am so he knows I can be on his @$$ at all hours of the night.
