whats your goal this winter?

    My goal this winter is to get the motor pulled part and freshened up w/ the new cam I got from Old Guy, and rebuild the tranny.
    Would like to get it sanded, primered, painted but I dont think I'll make it that far.

    Mostly work on the 74 ....

    Replace Oil Pan Gasket
    Replace Universal Joints
    Install CD player and speakers
    Detail Engine
    Small Bumper Swap with rear spoiler
    Fix a couple of dents

    Dennis, what's it cost to have the rear leafs worked on? I'd like to have more lift in mine.

    My garage is barely big enough to park in, let alone work on my car. The 4door Mav gets priority garage space for the winter though. I am hoping to find somewhere to do body work on it this winter if I can. I would like to pull the engine too and paint the engine bay if possible. Wish me luck.(y)

    I'll trade you mine for yours...
    Mine makes it sit a bit tall, think they have been re-arched
    plus, it had been lifted w/ pieces of flat iron drilled to make a new bracket
    Replacing those w/ the factory setup however

    Goals for the winter are:

    1) Suspension
    new 4 leafs
    new 620# coils
    1" sway bar in front
    polly bushings all around
    2) T-5 tranny conversion
    3) Install 3.55 gears with locker (have)
    4) get headers ceramic coated (have)
    5) sepintine belt conversion
    6) New water pump (have)
    7) 130 amp Alt.
    8) Install A/C
    9) Elec fan (have)
    10) New seats and custom console. (have)

    Wow thats a scary list. I better make a copy of this list and send it to Santa for some help.:clap:

    Not really. I want to get everything done on the Sprint by the end of the year so I can work on my 57 or Comet during the really cold months.
