Thanks guys. It's certainly been a labor of love. It's also been on hold for quite a while. Finally getting back into it now with a yob and all. It should be ready early next year - in time for the local track's 2005 points season. My best (and realistic) guess is it that it will run a high 6.7X-8X in the 1/8th. The only way I'll know for sure is to 'get her done' and I'ma trying!

Well, you can scratch off "get you're car in Mustangs & Fords. I thought that grabber looked familiar.(readers rides Dec. 2004)

As for me... Get a set of heads for the 351w I got to replace my 302. It's set up for Trickflows, which the owner removed to put on his Mustang Cobra. I also hear AFR heads and Edelbrok Performers are good too. Of course with my current budget, a set of 289 hipo head with at least 195/160 valves will be easier for my to get a hold of.

Besides that, maybe upping the stall converter again (the summit one didn't help too much). or If I get ambitious, the with the engine also has a toploader with a hydrolic clutch for a reasonable price...I just need a clutch pedal assembly. If I can accomplish this by mid spring (married with 3 kids ages 2-8) I'll be happy.

    :)

Chandler has a 6 cylinder clutch pedal and linkage setup for sale. I need the 6cyl linkage and you need the pedals ... I think you should buy it and sell my the stuff you don't need! ;)

I'll see If I can get a hold of him to see what he's asking for it. The local junk yard was supposed to get me one from a Maverick that I was getting parts off of for 3 years. They forgot to get my pedals and junked the car!
