My new to me comets missing a right rear wheel arch trim. Having trouble locating one off a 4 door.

Is there a difference? Will a 2 door rear wheel arch fit a 4 and visa versa? Sureley someone's tried before. They look really close.

    I think I have one on a 71 Comet 4 door if you’re interested.

Should all be same, D0DZ-6229164/65 are same mouldings used on '70 2dr Maverick...

Prefix of 62 indicates it's a 2-door part, if 4-door were different basic number would be 5429164/65

EDIT, above is for std, LDO mouldings are different between 2 & 4 dr.

    I am interested.

Found a couple other pieces missing too.

One of the front bumper verticals for a 74.
And the avocuado green passenger kick panel.

It's good if the bumper-guards are missing. Car looks much better without 'em...

I thought they kinda look like fangs or tusks.

The guards there, just bent and the black plastic strip is gone. I might remove them when I move the bumper back.

The wheel lip moldings are the same 2-door to 4-door. The only differences over the years were that the 1970-1973 fronts are different than the 1974-1977 fronts. Front valence vs. front fender lower extension.
