where to buy spacers

    Does anyone here know where to buy wheel spacers - good ones not the cheap ones like in JCWitney ???

    Dave; try Summit. They should have them. BTW, I still have your wheels, whenever we can meet up. I will be out of town this weekend, so maybe at the Cumming or FFW show. Let me know.

    All I saw in their catalog was MrGasket the thickest being 7/16 and I am needing 1/2".I will be at the cumming show on Sat. for sure, I only live 2miles from there.Let me know when or if I can pick them up there.Not sure yet about FFW. I am looking for High quality spacers like t-56 billit.

    If its just a spacer, they are all probably the same. Cut out of aluminum.

    Okay, here's a question: do you have to (or should you) install longer studs to run a 1/4-inch spacer?...

    Are you that close that a 1/16" is gonna matter?
    The studs have 1/2-20 threads so a 1/4" will take up 5 threads. Depends on what kind of lug nuts you're running you may. You should have at least one thread sticking out of an open ended lug nut. You can measure/count how many threads are in a closed ended lug nut to see that at least one stud thread will clear the nut.

    i would think a lot of it would depend also on what kind of rim your going to use. many of the aftrmarket ones are thicker than the stock rims.:)
