I put Pertronix in my '73 Stang conv 10 years ago, no problems, took it to a cruise last night. I had a problem with burning points out on my daily driver '69 Cougar conv. I put the Pertronix in last year, no more problems. Two other of my cars have them, too. Never a problem. Very simple installation. Much easier than taking out the distributor. Buy the Ignitor coil to go with it, total around $100 for the two.

I have the pertronix conversion in my 66 mustang. No problems at all.

Jamie; mine, the Ignitor ll, lasted 7yrs without a problem. It died in the fire, along with the distributer and numerous other parts.
