Come to think about it that when i totaled a 2000 saturn last march (spun it around 3 times into the ditch + trees) slamed the shit out of it and it was still running till the fire trucks got there.
i was hoping it would blow up actualy when i seen the body damage so i didnt cut it off...

    No offence was taken...

I appreciate your point of view, and I realize that it is a valid one as well. I am sure that they won't always work, but still. Just in case something happens that could trip the switch, I would like it to be there to do its job. Thanks for the input guys.

    K. Merring; are you the guy with fuel injection on an old style 302?
If so, do you have details about what to do and how to get it to work? If so, mail me and let me know. I am very interested.
    Thanks, Earl

Earl, Ken is a good source and a nice guy, he has helped me in the past. As long as you use the mass air EFI setup you can use just about any 302. Its the wiring that will be the problem. In reality, I did some searching and reading of wiring diagrams and figured out that you can do the wiring without splicing any wires. You can use the proper connectors on the EFI harness and the key on coil wire from the mav harness to boot up several relay switches to run the computer, the pump and the heated exhuast gas oxygen sensors. It really isn't that bad. I think the biggest pain is the fuel lines! The fuel return line should be at least the same diameter as the fuel feed line. Preferably, the return line should be bigger. Also, you will need to move the battery to the trunk. The mass air meter and inlet tube will fill the old battery space! Good luck
