The driver side door on my 1973 Comet is done, so I went to the junkyard and got another door off of a 73 maverick. I need to order new lock cylinders for both doors. I found some at a good price for a 74 comet, and I was wondering if those will fit my 73 comet and maverick doors on my car. Let me know, thanks.

You will want to switch out the ignition cylinder so it will match the doors.

74 ignition cylinder is different than the 73 ignition cylinder. The 74 is wider and won't fit into the column.

But it's possible to rekey by poping the pin cover off and swap pins from one to other...

My Comet had only one junk key, so I repinned doors & ign to a pair of new keys I had that was originally for a '67 Ford in dash ign lock... My neighbor who worked at Norfolk Assembly plant gave me that lock when I needed one for my '57 Ford, he didn't know it wouldn't fit... Rather than "un-borrow" it from Ford, he said keep it... That was 51 years ago...
