Snow blind With certain colors my brother actually wears sunglasses when he paints. He says it helps cut down on the snow-blind effect and makes it a little easier to prevent zebra-striping, which is caused by improper overlapping. Nice job, and cool color. My Grabber project is yellow too. At first I was going to change the color, but it's since really grown on me. Nothing beats the contrast of black stripes on a yellow car. PS: I like the scoop too.
Nice job John...now get Ward Foose to make them accent stripes "HOT" pink Seriously though I'm with the black accents crowd
Nice job John !! Since there are alot of yellow/black combos out there why not try something different. How about gunmetal or silverfrost striping outlined by black or bergundy stripes ?? Just my . Darrel
done.....minus rear window trim...which I need This is a very poor paint job, as some will see at the Round-up, every word that one can use to descibe a bad paint job can be used on this one.....but it was very fun and VERY educational. My oldest son has now decided he wants this car for his 16 b-day instead of a 66' stang So I will enjoy it for the next couple years in this state....state of a mess......and Adam and myself will redue the car in 2008. *the first pick is after cutting 1 round-off the front springs....its sitting to low for me so I am going to put another set of springs in it and try again.
Yellow and black is the way to go! Mine is original and worn, but the yellow still looks bright and glossy. :bananaman Roz
I think it looks like a great color combo! And as said here before - anyone can write a check for a paint job, you did this yourself and that wil always meen more to you! great job deserves a nanner guy! - :bananaman Eric
