    Howdy and :Welcome:

It would probably be cheaper just to throw another pan on there. 6 cyl pans are pretty easy to come by.

Ok good advice. Ill try to source a new oil pan n plug on eBay or locally. My only other problem is a faulty w/shield washer pump. Man -- you're a friendly/helpful bunch.I didn't expect so much attention in less than 24 hours. Nice. Hope i get to meet you all and maybe share some advice of my own (the latter is likely unlikekly or unuseful tho - love the car but im not much of a grease monkey. I understand issues, but have no tolerance for seized bolts and crazy mods.....). Cant wait to meet y'all. I can drag 'er down south of the CDN border any weekend. Wifey likes to shop in the US so we're set! Thanks all. Friendly bunch.

Scott; you can get a windshield washer pump at an AutoZone or Advance or any local auto store. Try the HELP section, or just ask the counter help. I got mine at an AZ for about $15. Good luck!

Don't have those companies in Canada but im sure Canadian Tire or UAP would. If not i guess ill hit salvage yards or a place like Jegs. Thanks for the heads up.

Are there any Ford only cruises that way or a place where a not perfect Maverick would fit in? Its not terrible... paint is good, just a couple of dingsand of course people dont exactly get too worked up about a 4 door 6 cyl. I couldnt be happier tho. The mileage is competitive with my V6 Accord and ive actually had more reliability issues with the 8 year old Accord (vs a 35 year old untouched Mav)!!! And ive driven sranger cars that prompted much fewer comments/conversations etc. Even had a movie studio offer to buy it (for a pittance tho).
