My most embarrasing moment was when I was 18 years old and the track was running a pro lite tree. Duh me sitting there.... track tech comes up and asks me what the problem is. I tell him my tree didnt work,, he explains the pro lite tree to me, I might as well been Homer Simpson that nite. DOH!

Hmmm.....One moment that stands out. I did a burnout and stalled....

The part that sticks out is the track official leans over on my car(I never hooked up the Neutral saftey switch) and motioned for my attention. I started it in drive and took off. He fell over:rofl2: and I had to stop racing that night:(

I was racing my 64 pick up one night, did a little tuning, set the timing, adjusted the carb,my buddy yelled let go make a pass,i shut the hood pulled up did my burnout, the lights came down,i heard a strange noise but only for a second everthing seemed ok.When i got back to the pit here were my friends holding my 1/2 inch wrench and my straight screw driver.I was in such a rush i left them under the hood and apparently on the starting line too.

I want to thank everyone that has posted on this thread for giving me other awful things to think about as I am about to throw up in the staging lanes.

Just make sure it stays in the car......It could screw up traction. :D

I raced Friday and today. My knee is finally healed so me and the Maverick are getting as many passes in as possible in before the season ends. Today I am getting used to the car, so not as bad, but Friday I actually had the thought process of throwing up in the passenger drag seat since the carpet is brand new.....

Just today I was sittin in the lanes waiting on them to pull a few cars. I had to "GO" something bad. Just as I started walking toward the outhouse the wheel stops and they pulled me out of the back of the line. #2 was going to have to wait:rolleyes:

The worst was when I went from a normal valve body to a reverse manual. I get the car in the burn pit, get the tires hot, pre-stage, pop it up in netrual, clean out the carb, drop it back in 1st, stage, the lights come down and I cut a 5.10 light, shift light comes on and I push the shifter up into netural again and hit the rev limiter (7000), Yank it back into 1st, then 2nd. All I could do is go back to the pits and buy back in. Then one of my "FRIENDS" puts a note on my dash that reads "PULL DUMBA$$" Arnt friends suppost to comfort you when you have something like that happen?

    Yea right!!!!!!!
