That tool works great. But yes, unless you are going to use it several times it is expensive. I have some friends that went in on it together. Made it more bearable.
It is interesting but it seems you need to have several tires to try.. Might be good for a tire shop to have.
It would be nice if someone would make a tech article explaining and showing how to measure for back spacing. THAT would help me.
percys has a wheel/tire fitment tool for like 100 bucks through summit, but think it only goes up to a 315 size but we all have a general idea on what will fit so why spend the $$$
I am ordering the Percy's kit today. I will be willing to loan it out to forum members after I use it. Would anyone be interested? I would want the price of the kit and shipping up front, and I would return the price of the kit once I get it back, or you can keep the kit and I will consider it sold to you with no hard feelings.
