TCI Rear coil over upgrade

I see photos on the Welder Series link that show the rear coil overs mounted an a slight angle and not straight up and down - is there a reason that an angled mounting is better?

 

Probably a little more travel?
Welders Series has a lot of stuff, they are semi local to me, and sell a lot to people in my area.

 

I might change my top mounts to angle them - just seems like it would be better in the corners if angled

 

when the coil over is angled a heavier spring is required. this requires stronger mounting locations. also consider the closer to the tire the coil over is the better it can control it.
