I was looking at http://www.redlinetuning.com/products_quicklift.html to get a set of hood struts. Received the message below. Anyone near Dexter Michigan that can go visit them?

    Hello Jack,

Well, without the vehicle, we cannot design a system -there are too many
variables. We are located in Dexter, Michigan, if you or anyone else you
know with this vehicle may be able to visit us for a development session....
Thank you for your interest in our products,
    Brian

Dexter isn't far from Detroit, lots of Mavericks in that area of Michigan.

The struts I used are from a late 90's early 2000's Crown vic, the bracket on the shock tower is made from some angle iron and I just extended the hood hinge for the other attachment point, I got the ball studs(and struts)from the "u-pull-it" yard, just walked around until I found the size that I wanted, and for me they had to be bolted on. Hope that helps...Dave

Hey 55, do you have the measurements for the right placement? I purchased the 13.39" (when extended) struts for a 98-11 Crown Vic - which I think is similar to what you show above. Thanks.
