rebuild front end

    hi guys, im rebuilding my front end right now so i need advise from the suspension gurus lol, im doing UCA,LCA all 4 ball joints, sway bar bushing and end links .but this is my concern upper control shaft seems ok should i replace them, i mean the shaft or you guys suggest the whole UCA?? can i just replace the UCA shaft or go with the moog problem solber now that i have them apart....sorry if i made mistake englisg is not my first language, im from mexico and my mav in mexican too with a danna 44 rear end

    Replace the UCA with the shaft . if you buy the complete assembly will be cheaper

    Yo lo cambiaria todo. De hecho yo consegui todas las partes en kit por 300/dolares. Es curioso el que yo tambien tengo un maverick mexicano y le voy a cambiar toda la suspension y direccion en unas semanas. Saludos.

    I prefer moog over cheap parts.

    I just did the Comet GT with all Moog parts. Previously, I did the '73 Stang conv and the '69 XR7 conv with Moog also. Only way to go for the long run.

    thanks guys! UCA are on its way, also all moog parts required. what can you guys tell me about poly bushings? i know its a no on the struts, but end links? lower control arm? sway bar? should i get them?

    They give you more stability and control. Rubber bushings tend to flex an wear faster.

    yep. LCA is right there...2 nuts and its off. Moog makes some. and as for the sway bar, I am shopping too and want to tag along for the responses.

    Hi Jim:
    Did Kim's Maverick also with same and the ADDCO 7/8" ths Sway Bar. Should have the car off jack stands today .. then it's off to the alignment shop with a flat-bed tow truck . I want the alignment right-on before driving any distance. Will you make it to the NPD All Ford Show next year ? If so , we' ll see you there.

    I am not sure , never purchased from Kims Maverick. Where are they located.
