I saw these about 2 years ago on e-Bay and never bought them, figuring I'd get a set "later". Well, I have NEVER seen this decal set again, until I finally just found this site that archives e-Bay auctions. As I remembered, I thought Firebird Designs made the decals, as they currently show 1971 Comet GT decals available, but when I contacted the owner, he told me he had never made Grabber decals.

Does ANYONE know who makes these? or maybe even who bought this set? I've got a 1:25 Johan kit that I've had for about 20 years and I just picked up a resin Grabber hood for it. I'd like to finish my 1:1 scale version soon and maybe make a "mini-me" version of it in 1:25.

    Any help/info would be great!

They are advertised as 1972, but appears to have the one-piece black hood stripe for 71.

If you have no luck, contact MCCI Utah State Rep Mark Gustavson. He is big into models and he would probably know.

I got ahold of Mark and he sent me info on a different set that looks to be MUCH better!! This different set even has the orange outer stripe and orange "Grabber" text, even the three "Maverick" emblems!!!

Thanks Craig! The MCCI connection comes through once again!

Kieth does very nice work. I have used his decals, never been disappointed.

I am the one responsible to print those decals. I sold some of them sometime ago on ebay. They work fine, but requires some experience on modeling. Tks.
