So.... my headlight have been working fine until A few days ago. There is Power to the hi/lo switch on the floor.
So i have ruled out the headlight switch. Now when i measure in the h4 socket all 3 plugs is at 12.5 volt??? There is no difference when i push hi/lo switch.. i thought one off the plugs is supposed to go to ground.. any off you guys Know where it is supposed to be grounded on the car? Tried to follow the wires but it is not so simple... all off the other lights work.

Grounds are on the small screws at either side of radiator, approx height of bumper...

What I can't remember is if these are HL or park/signal or maybe both...

the switch should be either on high/on low...it could be bad if both are showing power at the same time.
    sounds like a ground problem.

Yeah but without ground ALL terminals will read voltage... At least with lamp connected...

I will try to take both headlights out. When i measured i had A bulb in the other headlight. Maybe That is whats messing the readings up.

Whether lamps are in or out, it won't effect a good ground reading...

Voltage on ground means it's defective, no other choice...

You are right. The ground Was defective. I change the h4 plugs to New ones and made New ground contacts. Now everything is back to normal and everything works thanks
