the Taurus fan motor is offset in the shroud, that helps in a V8 install.
I now have a Champion rad, fan and shroud. maybe someone that has a Taurus fan on a 250 with stock rad. can give you some help.

I couldn't get the Taurus fan between the radiator and water pump on my 250. Jammie did on his 200. The 250 water pump is longer than a 200

If ur not running AC, most any 16" fan that fit's in the space, should work for you.

Why not run stock parts? I have a 17.5" seven blade fan from a 75 Maverick 250 that came with factory AC and PS. The fan shroud is from a '76. Highest I seen on the digital gauge is 204* while sitting in traffic for 45 minutes during the summer. My 250 head has been shaved .075" to bump the compression close to 10.3 to 1 or better so I know it is making a lot of heat

I have seen older Ford Explorers converted to electric fans by using the dual fan setup from a Ford Contour or Mercury Mystique.

No guarantees on fit for our car, but it might be worth a look. Part of the reason these are used in the Explorer is water pump clearance.

If that's all it's hitting I wud leave as is! 215 is normal w/ AC on in traffic --IMO. I run 220 on vry hot day's standing in traffic w/o any issues. My elec. fan blows way more air when the car is moitonless than my seven blade fan ever did; it blows air all the way past rear bumper. I wud leave that setup as is.

I have a Flex-A-Lite 118, it is abt "81mm deep 3 3/16". I have it mounted to the pass side of the rad. to clear the water pump pulley. Also, have a diy shroud for more efficiency. I am controlling the fan w/ Derale 16759 controller, recently installed.
