I need a set of center caps for my magnum 500 wheels that I got off of my parts car. I have restored the wheels and have them on the car, but haven't found the center caps yet. Ansen slots were probably the most popular in the 70's but other made them also.
I bought them from S Roberts on this board. It's been awhile since I got them. I think someone else is now doing the emblems. Craig Selvey maybe.... Someone will chime in...[/QUOTE] craig silvey is the man to talk to!:Handshake
Fenton and U.S. Mag were also popular slot- makers. The US mag slots usually had a 5 bolt centercap that's the same pattern as Torque thrusts.
Love those wheels! Well I am not sure about everyone else, but I love the slot style mags. I had a set of 14" on my 74 when I was 16, had the 3" lift with shackel bars, but man did it look mean! I bought another set in hopes of getting another Ford hotrod to throw them on, when I found my Maverick I was so excited until I pulled off the original hubcaps and saw that I have a 4 lug car I was so disappointed, now I am working on getting them on there regardless of if I got the 6 cyl in it or not, at least make it look tough!
hey im pretty sure ,,if u have 4 lug ,,pinto slots should fit ,,but they are hard to find,,there was a guy in moosejaw who had a set for sale ,,havent been to his house in a while,, I m glad i have a extra set of slots ,,just in case ,,u never know ,, Ron
i have a set of the original pinto slots but they are 13 inch no center caps now i ditched them but they attached with screws through a flat flange around the cap
