Shortest YouTube video I could find on points installation. Cleaner parts and work gloves should be part of this installation procedure!!! :yup: Hopefully you get the idea.

    Points gap should be .027.

A bad condenser will cause weak/erratic spark... In a pinch I once pirated a .1@600v condenser from a junk TV to get to auto parts store to get the real thing... It ran fine on TV condenser, values were same(or at least very similar), just it would never stand the vibration...

i put the points at 17 cuse i thought it was 17 ill fix it tommrow but good news is im geting sputers now like its trying but only sometimes and i have to keep the start going for like 10 secs before ill get anything
so ill fix thoes point from 17 to 24 and see if that helps

but at this point plugs are at 28
    point 17
cam and crank are chacked and timed right
and all 6 cly have 110 compressstion at least

Decreasing point gap increases dwell time, if anything would make a hotter spark(though does slightly retard timing)... There is nothing listed in previous post that should keep it from running...

My bet is either it has a spark issue or the timing is severely retarded...

squirt a little ( a spoon full size) gas down the throat of the carb and see what that does.

I'm so lost right now it's not funny it should start would black spark plugs cause it to not start and also 1 and 6 plugs are dry and 4 an 5 are wet when I pull them out and it's gas not water I can smell it also one time I put the dis back in after checking times again I did not unhook the bat and as I put it in it sparked and this part is weird but it ignited and Pop out the hole along with the oil dip stick sound like a missfire could that mean gas is leaking past the rings or vavles
