Is there a 6-7 quart oil pan that fits the 302 in my car? Maybe Canton or Moroso?

Thank you for the welcome. I am getting my "new" '72 Maverick tomorrow, Wednesday the 12th. Can't wait to take it for a ride and then head to my local track (1/8th mile) for some getting aquainted time.

You will be limited on pan choices for a Maverick. The problem being that the lower control arm mounts are so close to the pan already they prevent the use of a T style pan. You could go with a deeper pan, just watch your ground clearance, or install an oil cooler and remote mount your oil filter. That would require an additional quart.

The Boss pan is also what I used, but they are not 6 quart pans. What made them 6 quarts was the addition of the oil cooler.

I have seen a T style Canton pan on a Mav. All the guy did was notch the back of the sump on either side. I used the Boss 302 copy (also Canton)
