    pulled the exhaust manifolds off today. got one prepped with the needle scaler and sand blasted. will do the other one tomorrow and then off to be ceramic coated...Glacier black...:whew:

    Aircraft Carrier !! Wow .. that's a job history that only few can claim . Extremely hazardous working conditions as I've watched on TV . I had a neighbor about 25 years ago that also worked on a carrier .. He was the guy that helped land the planes on the decks . He was always being 'tempted' to come back into the service when he retired because they really needed his type skills.

    ten four on the preserving what you have .. I'm careful when we go to the range and I wear a Good Set of Ear Protection and safety glasses as required . Lot's of interesting folks on this forum.

    Adjusted front wheel bearings and fixed leaking fuel line at pump. Went for a long ride to check it out.

    Ordered a Dynacorn Grabber Hood and Scoops yesterday. Putting them on the '70 Maverick before we make the HRPT in June. Looking forward to receiving .. Already have the paint and painter scheduled for beginning next week. Painter and booth are across the street so they won't be hard to find. Also ordered a 3:80 eight inch Tru-Track Third Member for the 70 .. I'm building a 331 fuel injection stroker which will be installed by the end of the summer . Looking forward to " this " build . My Daughters Maverick is finally FINISHED .. ( Hoo-ray ) ..

    dropped off the exhaust manifolds...he had the rims hanging in the booth to shoot. should be done with them today. hope to pick them up in the A.M....

    on a side note...I ordered my new KATZKIN leather seat covers to replace the stock leather seats in my new '16 truck...:bouncy:

    Got an awesome set of aluminum slots for the Comet for my birthday, thanks to my beautiful wife! (haven't installed them yet though)
