Installed a set of Sub-Frame Connectors on the 70 Maverick .. GREAT FIT ! Got them from CHASSIS ENGINEERING 800-327-9402 Part # C/E 3645 for $ 99.50 plus $ 30.00 shipping if anyone out there is interested. I just ordered ANOTHER set for my Daughters 72 Maverick now that I know they fit well . We're installing a new PMA C-4 Tranny before the connectors. Getting ready for the upcoming HOT ROD Power Tour ..Leaving for Kansas City on June 8th with the 70 Maverick & 74 Comet . Hope to see some of you people ' out there ' also . Anyone on this forum going on this one ?? Just curious.

Put my new water pump, eccentric and fuel pump on the car and had some fun! Got to meet up with another local member today, AquaInferno. My friend and I will be helping him get his car back on the road where it needs to be!

Installed a Third Member in the Maverick Saturday ( 3.80 posi type ) and have been ' breaking it in ' as per instructions by builders . Five heat and cooling periods . Fifteen minutes regular driving ( non aggressive ) .. 45 minute cool downs. Finished the break in and we're draining the Rear End Gear Oil just in case the gear oil became contaminated during the break in. Should be ready for the HRPT in June . Looking forward to a great trip !

Installing ' Blinking Red LED Lights' in the dash areas of the Comet AND the Maverick which activate when the E-BRAKE isn't released to avoid driving with the brake ON . Neat addition but somewhat labor intense.

Got the Taurus fan control all wired up and tested, man that fan moves a lot of air. Used a temp switch on thermostat housing for low speed then to a on off on switch for high or low speed. Installed 130 amp alternator after painting all the brackets. Next in line is high torque mini starter.

I worked on buying a house, and a much bigger and better garage for the Maverick (does that qualify)? The new garage is 21.6' X 26', and has room for all my toys and tools. Getting a shed in the back for the rest!
