72 250 distributer points setting?

    wondering about the setup for the distributor points on a 72 250. just bought new points and forgot to measure beforehand,

    1972 Comet GT clone 306 . 1969 Fairlane Cobra 428CJ 1988 T-Bird awaiting 331 ..
    NEVER trust a installed points set to be of correct gap, contact and/or rubbing block wear is the main reason they require replacement...

    Point gap for a 6cyl should be .025"-.027", or if you have a dwell meter, 35*-40*...
