I will run Mickey Thompson 26/4.5-15 drag tires. I run those now on my Yellow Mav.

My dad and I are doing the same thing, we just tore car apart. We are getting ready to cut the shock towers out. We are putting in a 351w. I know this is a old post but any advice? Here are a couple of pics I took to where we are at now.

I am still running a 302, and I can take the headers on and off the car without removing the starter or lifting the engine up. The amount of room is amazing . I used 3/8 fuel line to go over the edges of the inner fender well opening that was left after I took the shock towers out. I sliced it down the middle with a razor blade on one side and pushed it over the edge of the Sharp edge of the inner fender well... All around the opening. Nothing fancy but it is what I came up with at the moment and I have not changed it
