That's what parts cars are for...wait, now I need a third parts car for my parts car...then I have 2 good ones and one scrap pile? Oh wait, I saw something on craigslist...it's a trap. Gearhead lust, you got me again.

Good thing I don't have any space for another one, or I would have another one!

id spend more in gas and my time searching and paying others to ship to me. besides i like the idea that itll all be new and clean out of the box. im about to hit a large sum of money so another $500 for time saved is no biggie to me at this point. but ty for the info.

Sure, I just need to find the parts sheet. I pieced this together on my own (not a kit).

I want to neaten it up a bit. I like the bulkhead connectors on the aftermarket systems.

I think U wud have to probably do a lot of mod's to dash to make it work. Only car I have seen w/ aftermarket AC in person, Chip "Cometized". I saw his car at Pwr Tour, Champaign, IL. last month, he had fabricated a complete new dash. Don't know if you up for going that route since yours is working fine? Chip wud be a gud place to start getting info.

had an aftermarket A/C in my first Mav (71), just checking to see what's new out there.
a friend has vintage air in his 36 Dodge truck that has no room under the dash.

Cut some late model connectors lengthwise and place them over your current lines...

Mojo the aftermarket ac/heat under dash unit is much smaller than a factory box. you will end up with extra room.

This will be close but not exact:
I am running the slimline under dash unit 11301-VUX-A (second one down on left):

I am using compressor 04808-VUA compressor with a 302 bracket kit.

For lines I ordered the extended hose kit and a bunch of extra fittings.

Not sure which condenser I ordered but it was the largest one I could fit in front of radiator (looks like top one on page).
