Maybe there is air in the system! You might try re-bleed!

Did you bench bleed the master? I was in a hurry not too long ago and skipped doing that. Figured it would bleed out fine once in the car. Wrong. I had to disconnect it all, hook up the bleeder return lines, and work out a couple air pockets on the full stroke. Only then did I get a good pedal.

I agree! Bench bleed makes much easier getting air out of system, once cylinder is on the car. Since it's on the car, I wud get some help trying to bleed system w/o pulling MC if possible.

    I didn't and don't with 4 wheel disc.
I was told by a drag car builder that if the rear tires are a bigger dia. than the front I wouldn't need one.

i'm quoting this because the man never replied to my question. he has 2 SLS70 switches, with one saying 'General 30891' and the other 'General 30811'. What's the difference?

I found General 30811 crosses over to Standard Motor Production SLS-70 at https://www.sherco-auto.com/general...-switch-rpl-smp-standard-sls-70-usa-made.html ...so does General 30891 at https://www.sherco-auto.com/general...witch-rpl-smp-standard-sls-70-usa-mexico.html crosses over to Standard Motor Production SLS-70. RockAuto shows Standard Motor Production SLS-70 fits a Maverick http://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/...rical-switch+&+relay,brake+light+switch,10474 . Also the Ford Master Parts Catalog has a Motorcraft SW-881 listed for the Maverick/Comet. Looks to me like the 30881 should be the part number you're look for.

wait, are you sure you don't mean 30811? because 30881 is entirely different.
