Anybody ever take out the stock gauges and replace with newer ones?

    Welcome to the forum.:tiphat:
I’m thinking about doing this, I’ll be running a T5 with a electronic speed sensor so it should be rather easy.

I’m thinking speedo & tach in the dash in-place of the factory gauges, then volt, oil pressure, water temp, fuel level gauges in a custom console that is also on the list.

Some members have made the change to dash gauges. Only one I can think of off-hand 71Gold forum member in your state.

I haven't taken the dash apart yet, I'm assuming it's a printed circuit board back there

Yes, once it’s removed there should be plenty of room to install a couple of gauges.

Contact jtown77 to inquire about his setup. Also, get w/ Frank "71Gold, he has a digital gauge package; IIRCC he has a Dakota Digital package. I think your basically interested in a analog setup. There are a few members who have done the analog setup -- I just can't think of who they are, off hand. If I recall who they are, will forward info.
Frank and some others in the Georgia area meet from time to time for lunch in Atlanta area; if your not to far away, may want to hookup w/ them.
