Is the sn95 setup a kit that someone sells or something you are looking to fabricate yourself?? I’m parting out a 94 GT for the drivetrain to slide into my Comet, so I’m very interested.
Most kits, except for the premium custom spindle setups($$$$), will require SN95 components to complete the conversion. OEM spindle/hubs brakes, etc will need to be sourced. You can of course buy more complete kits but you are simply buying new or factory refurbished OEM parts mixed with their "proprietary" bolt together designs. Ever see CPP's stuff? http://www.classicperform.com/Store2/Suspension/6466TCA-UKB.htm http://www.classicperform.com/Store2/Suspension/6165COK-SA.htm
I believe uni-body cars are stronger w/ some kind of tower structure remaining, as part of the engineering design. Also, I don't think the huge Mod motors look right in the older/vintage smaller Ford products, Mustang, Mavericks/Comets. I think the larger cars, Galaxies, Mercurys, Edsels more acceptable .
Yes I have. I find there site difficult to navigate and the only thing I see listed for Maverick/Comet is traction bars.
