300 i6 swap

I got to see the Clem Lachance "The Mad Frnchman"'s Ford Maverick 300 'Magnum Six' drag car in action at the Dover Drags' reuinon a few years ago at Lebanon Valley Speedway. I didn't get to stage with Clem LaChance but witnessed the sound and fury of the screaming 300 "Magnum Six" Maverick .






BTW: For a challenging build, the native Maverick small block six 250 has many of same capabilities as the 300 and speed equipment readily available.

I think an inline build would really be cool. I have an old 300 iv saved for years that I want to build.

 

I have a 250 in it now that is rusted solid because it was a flood car. Was thinking of rebuilding it and beefing it up but the intake is so restricted it would be hard to make decent power.

Thank you for posting the engine pictures. I've always heard about the Mad Frenchman's swap/car, but never saw an engine bay picture.
