While I highly reccomend replacing older rubber brake hoses, the ones for '70 are apparently unobtainium(and AFAIK have not for several years). Not on Rockauto, or ebay, not even Rear Counter has a source. Having them made at hydraulic hose shop is likely only option for original. https://www.rearcounter.com/results.php?s=D0DZ-2078-E (and F, R&L are different) As I stated prior, hoses for '71 are avail but at minimum require replacement of wheel cylinders as well. Those parts are same as used on '67-'71 Fairlane/Torino. R&L hoses same.
Contact Nick, he can make up any new brake line for you..... David https://www.ebay.com/itm/332903143239?hash=item4d8292d747:g:4CMAAOSwcnZb-qRK&vxp=mtr
I actually removed the bleeder valve completely and no fluid came out under pressure. Sounds more and more the soft line has collapsed, thanks guys you have a lot of info.
The brake hoses wear from the inside out. the outside can look good but the inside where worn will be thin and a hole will then cause the fluid to get between them and that brake will lock up and you can't bleed them. i don't know how many miles are on the hoses but if the are original hoses. they may be worn on the inside. I all ways replace brake hoses every other time I replace the brake shoes or disc's.
The hoses are original to the vehicle and most likely the problem, I'm impressed with all the help I'm getting here, much thanks to you guys.
