Pitman arm interference

    With the hooker long tubes I’m getting interference with the pitman arm when the wheel is turned left. Anyone else have this issue or a solution?

    Common problem, no easy fix other than denting tube of header

    Yep, same with mine. Just drive it, the arm will make room for it's self.

    Making a little dent for clearance really isn't a big deal. It's been tested by multiple dyno operators on TV, the internet, and in magazines. In theory the largest cross sectional area for a given circumference, but I think the lesson is that area doesn't change that much until the tube gets crushed very badly.

    Thanks again guys! I was leaning towards the hammer mod but wanted to make sure shimming the engine or something else wasn’t something people did.
