When I was young I have to say 4 doors weren't cool, and 4 door Mavericks REALLY weren't cool. Now we live in a world of sports sedans, and I've driven a few 4 doors that were just as much fun to drive as any 2 door. Now I'm looking at the lines of the 4 door Maverick and I see a really sharp compact sports sedan. I sent a pic of a stock 4 door to my Millennial oldest son and got back the response "Are you kidding me? That's a dope looking vehicle even BEFORE any modification!" Now I'm thinking about it in even more detail. Bucket seats, custom console, front spoiler, a custom wedge-style spoiler on the deck lid, and 17" wheels with 45 series rubber at around a 275 width. Might be time to start making a plan. Does anyone have any pics of really sharp, modified 4 doors?
maybe someone has a pic of the dark green 4 dr. from fla. it was one of the nicest ones I've seen. It caught fire and burned.
My granddaughter despised my Comet from first time she saw it, I don't think adding a couple doors will help. Got her learners permit two weeks ago, flatly stated "I want a pickup truck"...
Not only would I drive it -- I'd make room in my garage for it.. I think it's an awesome ride. It's not an over-the-top restomod --- IMO.
These are exactly the sorts of cars I'm thinking about. They look sporty, capable, and aggressive. Like they can leap away from a stoplight and you could throw them at a corner with confidence.

I appreciate all the contributions. This one right here is a classic Ford color combination from roughly 1968-1073. I owned a Galaxie 500 and a pair of Cougars in this or a very similar green with black vinyl tops.
