Swapping a 289 to replace a 250 l6

    cool. what percent of tint did you do and what seats are those? I want to do cloth in mine.

    Drum brakes SUCK.

    If you don't think so, just wait till you're running 60-70 MPH and the line of cars in front of you jamb on brakes. You'll either hit the cars or the ditch....

    I've converted both Comet & Fairlane to discs, luckily the Cobra had them from new.

    By all means! Mine was four wheel drums when I got it. I was on the road to a car show when the turn off came up sooner than I expected. I hammered the brakes and fortunately for me nothing bad happened but I found front disc brakes pronto.

    Just O'Reilly's tint, 20 percent..the seats are out of a 79 pinto that I just stretched a set of cover's on.. I'd leave yours they look nice ! And definitely disk in front at least....

    ok I will do front disc swap, going to get a shop to tint my windows all the way around, and I want cloth so will try to keep same design but in cloth. Also going to get rid of all vacuum a/c box and stuff and switching to newer air with electric controls

    I plan on getting all good chrome eventually, when I go to get it painted i will get it dustless blasted, also why is the trim near your quarter window blue?

    Lol ! It was completely shot...and I'm to tight to spend the $ they want for a pair, so we sanded them down n painted, bumpers arnt much better, gonna make them body color also in the end..
