Swapping a 289 to replace a 250 l6

    you can buy a new windshield and back glass. my car is a 75 grabber. if you have facebook I can send you some more pictures.

    Nice ! Prob do that before painting. Sorry no fb ours is a 77, I showed my boy the pics u put up here, he likes it too !

    He just turned 18 n got couple tickets in the Maverick, chirping tires n what not. The 250 has lots of tourqe ! Can be a good thumper...

    bit more suspension parts to take off, finish shock towers, the motor is that 289 block that's shit, gonna use it for test fitting in engine bay...

    More just for any header issues and fab up a belly bar, motor mounts should be here soon, gotta ditch the column shift. What do you think of putting that stock piece on ? Doing it for room but not sure if takes away to much or looks good not in the way... I'm good for any thoughts.... Love this fourm ! Lots of good info and Maverick / Comet folkes..

    Ya, idk...lol. Prob leave it off, alot of work just to put half of it back on.. crazy nice work on that hood you saved ! I watched a price is rite from 73 with a comet prize I think you posted..good stuff !

    My '70 originally came with 9" drums all around. After putting in a V8 the braking was so poor I actually had nightmares about it.

    Are my eyes deceiving me? It looks like you have the added reinforcement plate on the outside (wheel) of the shock tower but not the corresponding wrap around inside piece?
