I just followed the advice that I got early on in the thread and drilled 1 inch holes, came out perfect. I still have the car many years later with no issues. I was working with the original spoiler, no idea if you’re using something else though

Too bad we're at opposite corners, I have an extra Grabber deck lid and it's even red!

Thanks for the feedback! I believe the mold I bought is proper, but I guess I'll have to find out the hard way.

Thanks, I wish I had known this earlier, I've had a heck of a time finding a factory spoiler, been searching for two years before I finally found one from "Show Car Rob" on E-Bay. It looks right, unlike the first one I bought from a fabricator in CA where it only has three mounting studs and I'm not confident about. I think I'll have a body shop do this along with some other things I'm doing, but this advise and feedback is really valuable so thank you guys. Give me a number I can reach you at in the event it doesn't work out. I personally feel that the rear spoiler really makes the car look so much better, even though it's fairly subtle.

All I have is the lid, no spoiler.

OK, when you said "Grabber" lid, I assumed it had the spoiler so I'm confused. Either way my trunk lid is clean.

Hey Dave I actually have a nice rear spoiler and I am in the Tampa area if you are looking for a factory one.

Also show cars is notorious for their bad fit… people have been able to make them work but their end cap are pretty poor fit.

Ironically that is my fear as well. They included the wing piece in the mold, but fortunately I have a pair of those and worse case I can use those instead. Again, thanks for the feedback, I've been amazed at how difficult it has been to get one of these.

That's great William, I'm surprised I haven't seen you around some local events. Please call me at 813-220-5601 when you can.

I bought it for the spoiler, my orignal was pretty rough. It is a factory piece so it already has the correct holes for the spoiler.
