Is the rear end of a 4 door the same as the rear end of a 2 door? I have a 1973 four door Maverick and like the look of the spoiler and would consider adding it to my car but don't want to spend money on something that won't fit. Does anyone know whether or not it fits?

Totally different and will not work without major modifications.

Not sure why you would put a spoiler on a 4-door, but in any case, quite a few people have put a third-generation Firebird spoiler on Mavericks and it fits & looks pretty good, especially since the Grabber "ducktail" doesn't fit on the big-bumper cars (without a small bumper conversion). Of course with the weight of the Firebird spoiler, your trunk lid will not stay open by itself...

I guess a newer challenger spoiler will fit. I took all the measurements and it should work perfectly. It's not "correct" and I'm sure purists will get upset but who cares

When it comes to Mavericks/Comets, the whole "purist" thing is absurd.
Make the car the way you want it (although I don't advocate butchery)...

I believe this is a Charger wing on the back of this car I sold years back. It was on the car when I bought it.

Please let us know if you find something that works and how it comes out. A nice little ducktail or wedge-style spoiler on the deck and a chin spoiler would give the 4 door a sports sedan vibe.
