Does anyone have pics of the mustang seat platform installed ? I'm thinking about buying them and graft in so I can bolt in 70-73 mustang buckets.

I don’t see them helping at all if you are putting them on a Maverick floor.

Mustang seat track designs are 1967-70, and 1971-73.

The 71-73 Mustang seat frames are the same ones used in Maverick and Comet bucket seats. They just used different upholstery. I believe the seat foam is the same. The bolt pattern of the seat to seat tracks is the same.

The main difference in the floor is that the run from the door to the trans tunnel is not level in a Maverick/Comet. It is closer to the ground inboard by the tunnel. That is why the seat tracks needed spacer blocks inboard, to bring them back up to level.

To put Mustang risers in your car, you would likely have to angle-cut them somehow, and I doubt there is enough height to make that work correctly.

Not needed if you're using the Maverick floor as pointed out above. Unless you've cut the built in riser out of the Maverick/Comet floor. What year of car are you putting them in?

I have a stock 73 comet floor pan. The correct tracks are hard to find, especially for high back buckets. I'm onto another solution anyway. I'm thinking of going electric base and adapting directly to seat.

I play electric bass. It takes years of practice. :p:clap:

Seriously, many, many Fords used the same bolt pattern for the seat bottoms over the years and you may get lucky in finding a good match. You will likely need to make some kind of risers to get the inboard sides level.
