I finally took my Maverick on a road trip (about 100 miles round-trip) with the new Koni STR.T front shocks. I haven't installed my OpenTracker roller spring perches yet, because I wanted to compare the difference (if any) between shocks. Well, I really didn't notice any difference in ride quality between these Koni shocks and the KYB EXCEL-G shocks I had on there. The Konis are supposed to be valved to work with lowered suspensions, and are physically "fatter" than the KYBs, but there was no real noticeable difference on the road.

I'm looking forward to finding out what difference the roller spring perches make...

In my particular case the ride quality improvement was dramatic with roller perches. I would like to hear when you get them in.

Sorry I missed this but I totally agree with Jason regarding the roller perches. I installed mine in October of 2017 and noticed and immediate improvement in ride quality.

I did rollers around 2015 and agree there is/was noticeable ride quality improvement; wishing I had went to coil-over suspension while I had it all apart.
