    Maybe a dumb question, but I bought a repro air cleaner decal, and I want to know how it should be oriented on the lid. Thank you

    You have the lid style I've seen on the RBS carbs ------- his is the one I've seen more on the YF's with that bump up for clearance.

    75 to 77 250s came with YFA carbs. 74 and back had the RBS.

    Neat trivia - My first wife's brother in law was the Ford engineer responsible for the idea that the word "Front" should be stamped into the air cleaner lid. The original idea was to use a separate label stuck to the lid.
    They computed the amount of money spent on printing the labels and having someone place them and ran with the idea to stamp it instead.
    As a bonus, Ford GAVE him a 1972 Mustang Coupe. Mind-blowing ....
