I know this isn't a Mav thing but I will probably be getting a 1971 Torino (my other favorite Ford) with the 351 Cleveland to keep the Mav company! The car is in great shape and is all original. Wish me luck! :bananaman

It isn't currently located in Maryland Is it? I know someone that had a 71 Torino GT with the 351c all original, unrestored and kept it for years and years and recently sold it to a friend and bought a 55 T-Bird.

If it is the car I know of, it is light blue with the original laser stripes and is a dream of a car. Last time I seen the car (couple year ago) I felt unconfortable eating around it with the hood open for fear that I may drop crumbs on the engine (hahahaha)

Well if it is or if it ain't good luck, and hope you get the car

My 73 Grabber was put next to a similar yellow/black Torino GT at the Fun Ford Sunday last year. It looked like my big brother. I don't see why a Maverick lover wouldn't go for a Torino too. Good luck on getting it.

Nice choice on the 71 Torino. Your garage will be a mirror image of my garage. I own a 70 GT Torino that shares sleeping space with my 70 Maverick. The only bad thing is which one do I drive :hmmm: or work on for that matter.

Must be a common thing amongst Maverick people; we have a '70 Torino in the family. Just a 6cyl car but original paint and less than 70,000 miles.

Torino's yes, but the Gran Torino's I am not into too much. Here is a picture of my '70 Torino GT. It is my very first car I bought back in '88. I was teased all the time for driving a boat to school. Stupid people didn't realize it was a midsize car back in '70. Picture_320_small.jpg

I love it! Yes, it must be a family thing. Growing up, my Dad drove a 70 1/2 Falcon Torino (the 4 door) before he got his first Maverick. He still owns the Torino. I love them and would buy a 70/71 if I could. :bouncy:

There is a early 70's torino cobra in bee branch, Ar if anyone's interested. I don't know anything about it other than what the window says and the little cobra emblem on the sides. Just have to go check it out yourself.

It's on US 65 North just across from Cadron Creek Catfish house. Or, at least it WAS there last week (haven't been thru there in a few days).
