I'm getting ready to install Mickey Thompson 26 x 15 X 8 drag radials on the rear of my Mav. My question to any of you guys running drag radials is this. What type/brand of tires are you running on the fronts? :hmmm: I want something that will look good with the drag radials. I want to put about a 6 inch wide tire up front. Any and all ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I should have specified. This will be a street/strip car so I don't want too narrow of a tire up front. My rim is 6 inch. How wide is your tire Don? That's a radial tire, right? What brand?

run a radial with a radial a bias with a bias... the MT Sportsman Front Runner is a nice tire.

Yeah, I had my eye on the MT sportman radial tire size 26 x 6 x 15, but the specs recommend a max rim width of 5 inch. Mine are 6 inch. The tires specs say tread width is 5.7 and section width is 6.5. Do you think these will work on a 6 inch rim?

hate to say yes and have them not fit. i think i'd go with the 26X8RX15. this says 5-7 rim. won't hurt to be a little wider on the street anyway.:)
