thats the messed up part actually. the kid goes around telling people he did EVERYTHING to that car him self. he's got everyone convinced he bought the car as a bone stock daily driver and made it what it is today

the only people to ever touch a wrench to the car was the supposed "drift team" that he bought the car from and myself

if you wanna take credit for their work i dont care but if your going to take credit for my hard right infront of my face im going to take that as disrespect.

I can help with that, just pay me the plane ticket and I'll do the job.

Your "friend" sooner or later will screw up his car even more, who's gonna repair his car now he brags he did all the work. Not you, I'm sure. However you will have your badass cars knowing you know your stuff and how to take care of them.

Take care of your Mav and the G-bodies. Those are great cars.

yea its no big deal, im over it. sometimes thats what happens when you do a favor for people.

but he can rest asured his favors are all dried up around here. if he ever needs some work done again he better have some cash to back it up.

maybe its just me, but it sounds like you have a friend problem, and not a "ricer" problem. Kick him to the curb....

If he ate white bread instead of wheat, would the thread be entitled "Ungrateful white bread eater"?

    JMHO....

drag race kinda challenge:thumbs2: (on a privite road of course)

im sure hes gonna tell me its a drift car and he doesnt want to drag race or something

ima see if my olds cant take him. hopefully i can get those back tires to hook up a lil better. the Monte carlo SS posi rear should help with that but its still stock 14's back there, got some 16'' truck tires i could throw on, there a lil wider too. give it a few test runs, see how deep i can get in the throttle when i launch it. low 14's was my goal

ive heard that if you have a 4 link rear its better to launch from off idle while if you have leaf springs you should put it on a break stand?

im prolly gonna loose but i'll still give him a hell of a run for the money. wonder if i know anyone that i could barrow a nitros tank from?
i got her on a diet, not really any excess weight anywhere. even managed to find aluminum bumpers and core support over the summer.

tags and insurance are my goals for this week, then i'll just have to see where the wind takes me. win or loose the only reason either of our cars are on the road is because of my own work :tiphat:
