It still 'aint wort no $130k, even for an original wing car. It look at the distributor, it dosen't run and probably hasn't for a long time. Too much water and rust. That guys off his rocker.
I love that car. I would get it running and road worthy and nothing else. I'd drive it as it looks forever with a huge smile.
I still love this car and it's story. I would gladly drive it everywhere. Provided I could get it roadworthy.
SOo someone tell me why a Drag -n -fly Maverick is considered ugly but this beast isn't.. I mean restored. I have always thought these things were fugly as heck. Plus loses points in my book becuase it is a dodge, yeah they may have been fast but to me Dodge couldn't build a good dependable vehicle to save their lives, com'n nobody is really counting the K-car are they?
Best offer was $75,000! Saw a story (thinking Hemmings muscle car) That nose piece is worth,,,couple Mavericks anyhow! I never liked the Mopar muscle 60's 70's But I respect and like them now! Still aint FoMoCo!
Drag-n-Fly looks fine to me. I'm a little partial to Daytonas and Superbirds. I just like em. Obnoxious and arrogant and available in dayglow colors. As for Mopar lust, I have it bad.
"It puts the lotion on it's skin....." "I thought you had a Hemi,,,,,,, My cars in the shop gettin' a foot print gas pedal installed, so I stole this pile" "Home is where you make it........ You like to see homo's naked???" "I'm your sister!!!, I'm your sister!!!!!!!!!" Sorry for any in-accuracies, haven't seen it in a while.
That 65 Belvedere is bad ass i would sell every one of my Fords for that car [probably all my Fords arn't worth that much]
It's drool worthy. I like most any car regardless of the make. Fromm 442s and GS to Riveras and Delta 88s. I like Mustangs, Pintos even Festivas are fun to drive and abuse. I like all Mopar muscle even the turbo GLHs and Shelby Daytonas. I even like AMCs and a Rambler is a beautiful thing. I'm not a brandist(thats right, I said it! BRANDIST!) I like this sick Mustang.
Because the Drag N Fly looks like an overgrown Datsun? Dodge must have built some pretty decent cars. My grandpa put over 350,000 miles on more then one Dodge van between the late 60's and mid 80's when he and my uncle were traveling the country racing motorcycles and BMX bikes.
