So... why the desire to come on this site and run someone elses car down? His car is not really my thing, but I can appreciate the work he's put into it. And to tell you the truth, I've seen a whole lot worse! At least if you're going to post something on here trying to ridicule someone...learn what slicks are! That car doesn't have slicks on it...front or back! You sound as silly as you're implying his car is...

    ok, excuse me.

i didnt think i would have to imply its sillyness, i thought everyone would be in complete agreement

if you can aperciate stickers, non functional, giant wings, butterfly scoops, body kits, wide tires and wheelie bars on a fwd car thats completly stock under the hood aside from some orange spray paint be my guest

this isnt the first time people have made fun of clown car ricers on here and im sure it wont be the last.

I would drive that car with a lead foot and a big grin.
    Looks like a jet fighter.
    I prefer American cars personally.

If that thing had a worked small block in it, it would be sick. Lot of work there. I am sure the owner likes it just the way it is. I would check it out if I saw it at a local cruise in. I wonder if he has speakers to play v-8 sounds. His Idea is not that far fetched you know...

I once saw a bad-azz looking late model F-body at the track. When I say, "at the track", I'm talking in the parking lot.

It had the narrowed rear, the huge tires, the wheelie bars, even a PARACHUTE, everything that made it look like it'd be a 200+mph 1/4 ride.

    ....
The motor was the stock 6-cylinder still under warranty - nothing touched on it. :D

Not that I would drive it, but I thought it was pretty cool. (sorry about that :hide: )

    That was your first mistake...

Lots of folks on here run stickers on their cars (products they purchase and use)...and wide tires (some need them...most don't), and scoops, (you were probably referring to the fake injection hat though ). And the Grabber option on our cars was just a body kit. There are a whole lot of guys on here who have very nice cars that run stock engines under the hood. You want folks making fun of your car just because it "only" has a
    6-cylinder?

Now that is true...Just remember, Most folks, outside of the Maverick/Comet community, feel the same way about our cars that you do about "ricers". Sometimes to get along, you have to go along. Anytime you think "everyone would be in complete aggreement" you're probably incorrect.
