For the SRT8 version, 37K is not that bad, (ALL new cars are too expensive! LOL)

What I want to see is a standard Hemi Challenger's price

SICK!! I can't wait to see these on the road! I've always liked the original Challengers and I definitely like the new one as well! (y)

I'm considering selling LAND to buy one!
A stripped down Hemi model in white, no stripes. Zero frills, all thrills just like a musclecar should be.

TOTALLY worth $37,500. I love this car like a child already.

That price is not bad at all. Hell, my grandpa gave almost 35,000 for his loaded F-150 back in '05. I think these Challengers are going extremely successful. Will be interesting to see what Ford does with the Mustang to try and top it.

Love the tail light but needs chrome bumpers on both ends. Looks too high sided for me. Bumpers would break that up.

If I could afford one, I'd get one. I love the body style, looks just like the 70's verson. I agree with Mavaholic, needs to have chrome bumpers to set it off....

Ford will step up the V8 GT package and offer more options or discounts. They already have Saleen, Roush and Shelby cars with an optional KR edition to counter the Hemi R/T that will be outshining them for a while. Style wise Ford is screwed for now. The Challenger is a stunner.
No offense to the Ford guys(myself included) but Mopar will have a really formidable package in the Challenger. Ford needs to up the ante considerably to outsell them and initially but I bet they won't.
The Shelby/Roush Mustangs are as good as it gets right now and Dodge is due for unleashing on Monday. Dodge also has a SEMA Dragcar version of this thing already in the works(stripe kit thread I posted a picture of it). I read somewhere they are going to increase the Hemi displacement to insane numbers pretty soon. Imagine a NEW BIG Hemi Challenger that looks great and has all the comforts the original lacked. The only thing cooler is a Shelby 500KR and the Challenger is way cheaper.
GM has a new Camaro in the works that is excellent visually(Transformers). It will be a big deal too. I read about a new GTO rumor also.

I'm just talking about when they restyle the Mustang. Supposedly in '09 or '10 we are supposed to see a new Mustang from what I have read. I've seen the Camaro, I honestly do not like the car.
